2008 Mt. Washington Auto Road Newton's
Revenge
Philbrick Photography has been chosen to be the official
photographer of Newton's Revenge participants for this year's
event. Our photographers will be on the road making every
effort to get photographs of all the entrants of this most
challenging climb. If you are interested in having a photographic
record of your efforts from the climb, you will be able
to come to this page after the race to view and order images
from the Newton's Revenge on a link that will appear below.
We hope to have all the riders' individual photos ready
for viewing by mid week after the race. You will be able
to view the gallery and order images for at least 30 days
after the event. The links to the galleries will appear
below when they are ready for viewing. A username
and password will also be posted for entry to the
gallery where you can purchase a photo of yourself in the
Newton's Revenge.
The gallery with all the photos of individual riders will
be sorted into sections based upon cyclist's entry numbers
to make it a little easier to find your photo. Gallery
images are not edited or enhanced. The images you purchase
will be. If you wish to purchase a photo or photos,
the gallery is the place to do so. It has a shopping cart
built into it and all purchases are made through a secure
purchase with a credit card.
This year we are offering you these photos in a digital
format. You will receive a CD in the mail within a week
or so of your order being placed. On this CD will be a couple
of files. Your image will be individually cropped and processed
to optimize exposure and color. This CD will contain the
"digital negative" of your selected photo. This
enables you to print unlimited copies of your photo at home
or at the lab (Wal Mart, Costco, etc.) of your choice at
whatever size you choose. In addition, the CD will include
a full screen slideshow as an overview of this challenging
event. The cost for all this is $30.00 per selected photo.
